It is much better than drawing the stages in a book purely because it moves and the interactive element it has. Students colour and label the key features. Glue the 2nd layer down which then folds back as the waterfall erodes and retreats. The waterfall question sheet can be cut out and stuck on the back of the folding waterfall. This is a great teacher timesaver as it is ready to print and the students will really engage with making their own personal waterfall...why not get them to name it?
